Lack of access to modern energy supplies, known as ‘Energy Poverty’, effects around 1.6 Billion people across the developing world. Modern energy supplies are crucial for educational development and the provision of healthcare. Sustainable energy supplies, achieved by harnessing renewable resources such as Solar, Wind and Hydro, are vital to enable all communities to positively contribute to a country’s economic development and growth whilst protecting traditional ways of life, and stopping the migration to large urban centres.
